broadcasting &
event facilitation

With over 20 years experience as a broadcaster, supported more recently by my ecotherapy & ecopsychology nature based training and work, I'm an experienced and professional communicator. Ten years working as an Announcer for BBC 1 & 2 alongside my own national network radio shows on BBC Radio Bristol and others, my communication skills are strong, both verbally and written.

I co-founded the live talk and podcast series Talk Wordy To Me as well as the podcast series Passion Pods back in 2012 at a time when they were a medium that was pretty much unheard of! I'm currently in the process of creating a new podcast series to come in the 2025 - watch this space! My online communication also includes founding Take a Tree Break during the Covid pandemic, as well as working with my sister, art curator Lucy Chiswell on Cult, a video series exploring art online through the senses.

As well as television, radio, podcasts and voiceovers, my experience has also included live event facilitation. I've collaborated with numerous organisations including hosting a live Organic Kitchen Pop Up for Whole Food's at their flagship High Street Kensington store as part of the Soil Association’s ‘Organic September’ campaign. Enterprise Nation is another, facilitating a day of panel interviews and live audience discussions supporting their start-up community, hosting a live podcast interview and Q&A too at their Festival of Female Entrepreneurs.

community development & strategy

I've worked on Community development and strategy for a wide and diverse range of organisations and individuals. From supporting on vision, leadership, internal & external communication, branding, human resources & team wellbeing, both in person and digitally. Offering my skills and experience in support of more collaborative leadership to those that are also modelling that in their development, stepping away from the outdated, dominating, power-over model.

As well as being an innovative and creative community founder myself, working for others I've also led the internal and external re-shape of the Volunteering offering of both Avon Wildlife Trust and accessible watersports charity All-Aboard. I developed and managed the membership for small business network Enterprise Nation and more recently led on the development of an online alumni community for The Natural Academy. I've consulted on and delivered a new communication and community building strategy for a private estate in rural Hampshire.

In addition to my development and strategy work, I also facilitate nature connection for organisational wellbeing, predominantly through my work  as a co-founder of The Nature Collective C.I.C. You can read more about that nature connected approach by clicking here.
